Parachute Training

IAR currently provides C-130 airlift capabilities in support of parachute training services to all branches of the United States military and various other agencies.  The C-130's ability to carry over 90 jumpers to altitudes greater than 25,000 feet make it the preeminent platform available for large or high altitude jump operations.

For over 15 years, IAR has provided all branches of the U.S. Military with an effective way to supplement the support traditionally provided by active duty, reserve, and National Guard units.  Our abilities to schedule C-130 support on very short notice and provide spare jump aircraft allow IAR customers to get the jump support they need when it's wanted, where it's wanted.  In today's environment of increased overseas commitments and the resulting reduction in availability of military C-130 support, this capability has proven to be critical in providing military units with the parachute training support they need.

IAR's use of the C-130 for parachute training missions provides our military customers with the added benefits of familiarity, confidence, and enhanced safety that result when the platform used in training is the same as the platform used in real world operations.  This capability reflects the "train like you fight" philosophy so important to successful military operations.
