About IAR

International Air Response is a U.S. based, FAA certified, and DOD approved provider of specialized aerial services.  We own, operate, maintain, and crew various types of utility and transport aircraft including the Lockheed C-130 and McDonnell Douglas DC-8.  For over 30 years, we have been a major provider of specialized aerial services and aircraft to government and private sector customers throughout the U.S. and globally.  In addition to ACMI leasing, IAR also provides experienced flight crews and operational management services to other aircraft operators and certificate holders.  IAR is also able to lease or sell and deliver aircraft to customers globally.

All IAR flight crew members hold an ATP or Commercial rating and a current first class medical certificate.  Most flight crew members have military flight experience or have flown for a major airline.  The average IAR Captain has logged over 6,000 hours of multi-engine experience while our flight engineers have an average of 9,500 hours of experience.

All flight crew members undergo periodic background investigations and hold a current DoD Contractor Security Clearance.
